Reading the Spreads Cohesively

Steps to Reading a Spread

Examine Birth Card
Examine the card position that is the number of the birth card
Examine any card that is the same numbered card as the birth card
If the birth card is a face card, examine any cards of the same suit that fall under that face cards domain. 1,2,3 for Jacks, 4,5,6 for queens, 7,8,9 for kings. Secondarily examine any cards of different suits that fall under the face cards domain.
This will give you a picture of the more important cards to develop successful for that Birth Card.

Examine the 10th card, the ecliptic or Path Card, the card of enduring and sustained activity.
See what number it is and examine the card position of that number.
This will reveal the more constant theme.

Examine the 8th and 9th cards.
See what numbers they are and examine the card position for those numbers.
This will reveal where the deepest growth will occur, through the self-work journey of the 8th card and the realization potential of the 9th card.

Examine the Jack, Queen and King cards.
See what numbers they are and examine the card position for those numbers.
This will reveal the channels through which the person will express more of who they are – Jack Card; develop more as a person in this world – Queen Card; and the agency and process through which they will let go of, and destroy, the parts of themselves that are no longer viable.

Follow the numbers through the 1-7th cards to look for interrelated events.
